The process

  1.  Order your kit here
  1.  Create your impression
  • Combine equal parts of blue and white putty (pre-portioned for your convenience).
  • Mix until the colour is consistent, then quickly roll into a ball.
  • Press a finger, paw, or nose into the putty to create your mould.

Important Notes:

  • The mould material sets quickly—you have approximately 2-3 minutes to create your impression. If you're not happy with how it looks, roll it back up and try again, but act quickly.
  • Each kit includes enough putty for three moulds. If you’re creating a double-sided piece, we will require two moulds, leaving the third for practice.
  • If you’d like us to check the quality of your impression before returning it or using the second or third portions, feel free to send us a photo. Contact us and we’ll happily assist.
  • The impression you create will directly determine the quality and detail of your finished jewellery, so take your time (within those 2-3 minutes!) to ensure you're satisfied.
  1. Return Your Impression
    Use the prepaid mailing bag (NZ orders only) to send back your impression(s). We kindly ask that you return the impressions in the tins and box they came to you in. This will not only help them return to us safely but allows us to reuse and recycle the tins.

Sending more than one impression? Label or number the tins to help us match each to the correct person or pet.

Don’t forget to complete and return the order information card included in your kit. This is where you can make updates, such as choosing a double-sided piece or adding a stamped initial to single-sided pendants - both at no extra cost. At this stage you can also choose to upgrade to 23ct gold vermeil or 9ct solid gold – if you choose this we will send you an invoice for the additional cost.
