Each Glimmers by Jess necklace is designed to be meaningful, wearable, and timeless. Below you'll find helpful details on pendant shapes and chain lengths so you can select the perfect fit.
💍 Ring Sizes
Our rings are made using New Zealand and Australian letter sizes, from F through to Z.
You don't need to know your size to order. A ring sizer comes in your impression kit, so you can measure properly at home and write your size on your order card which you will send back with your impressions.
Already have an impression mould with us and don't need a kit? Please enter your ring size in the notes at checkout, or leave a note if you'd like a ring sizer.
Using your ring sizer
- Thread the tapered end of the strap through the buckle to make a loop.
- Slide it onto the finger your ring will sit on and pull it snug. Not tight.
- Ease it back over your knuckle. It needs to pass comfortably, not just sit at the base.
- Read the letter at the edge of the buckle. That's your size.
Fingers are a little smaller in the morning and in the cold, so measure in the warm afternoon. If you fall between two sizes, go with the larger one.
No kit? Measure a ring you already wear
Lay it on a ruler marked in millimetres and measure straight across the inside of the band. Match that to the chart below.
Or measure the finger itself
If you don't have an existing ring to measure, a strip of paper or a piece of string works just as well. Wrap it around the base of the finger you want to wear your ring on, making sure it's snug but not tight, and mark where the ends overlap. Then lay it flat against a ruler and measure to the mark you made, in millimetres. That number is your finger's circumference, so look for it in the third column of the chart below.
The ring still has to get past the knuckle to sit where you want it, so if your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, measure both and go with the knuckle measurement, or something in between if there's only a small difference. It's better to have a ring that's a little loose than one that won't go on at all. If you're unsure, get in touch and we can help.
Please take your time with sizing
Your ring is handmade to the size you give us, from your own impression, so getting the size right before we start matters more here than it would with a ring off the shelf. It's your responsibility to let us know the size you want.
If your ring arrives and it isn't right, please get in touch. Some rings can be adjusted and some can't, depending on the style and how far off the size is. Where it is possible there is usually a cost involved. We'll always talk it through with you and find the best way forward.

✨ Pendant Shapes & Sizes
Our impression pendants are organic in shape, each one slightly unique due to the handcrafted nature of our process.
Round pendants: approx. 12-15mm in diameter
Heart pendants: approx. 10mm wide x 12-15mm tall
Because each piece is handmade and formed from your unique impressions, natural variation in shape and size is part of what makes your jewellery one of a kind.
📿 Chain Lengths
All necklaces come with your choice of sterling silver or gold vermeil chain, available in the following lengths. 45cm and 55cm are shown in the below image.
45cm – Sits just below the collarbone
50cm – A little lower, great for layering
55cm – A longer, more relaxed look
