Handcrafted using high quality materials like sterling silver, 23ct gold vermeil and 9ct solid gold, each keepsake deserves a little care to keep it looking its best for years to come.

✨ Looking After Your Keepsake

To protect the beauty and longevity of your piece, we recommend the following care:

Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, sleeping, or exercising.

Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, makeup, cleaning products, or other chemicals.

Clean gently using warm, mildly soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or chemical cleaners.

Polish occasionally with a jewellery cloth if needed, especially for sterling silver.

Store carefully in a cool, dry place, preferably in a box, such as the box your jewellery arrived in, to help prevent tarnishing or scratches.


💛 A Note on Materials

All silver jewellery will naturally tarnish over time, especially when exposed to air, moisture, or skin oils. This is completely normal and can be gently polished away.

Our gold vermeil pieces are crafted with a thick layer of 23ct gold over sterling silver (2.5 microns, which is five times thicker than standard plating), offering a beautiful finish. While more durable than standard gold plating, it still requires mindful handling to maintain its glow.

Our 9ct solid gold jewellery is the most durable and low maintenance option we offer. It won’t tarnish like silver or fade like plating, making it ideal for everyday wear and a true heirloom piece.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our pieces, slight variations or markings may be present, these are not flaws, but part of what makes each Glimmers piece one-of-a-kind. Read more about the handmade touch here.
